A Day in The Life at Our Center

Our program breakdown of activities varies depending upon factors such as ages, abilities of our students, time allotted throughout the day, and how that ties into the length of each exercise.   • Early morning free play involves getting accustomed to the environment and greeting friends
  • Circle time welcomes each child and includes singing, storytime, and creative movement
  • Table activity is an artwork related to the weekly theme, sensory exploration, literacy activity, and fine motor activities
  • Outdoor play is in our safe, enclosed play area (weather permitting)
  • Our special activity features Zumba for kids with music
  • Lunchtime, where students sit down to lunch brought from home
  • Naptime; non-nappers engage in reading, puzzles, or other quiet activities
  • Read-aloud time, which may be a story related to our weekly theme
  • Gross motor activities which include dance, game, and movement
  • Snack time, which our daycare provides
  • We end our day with a table activity such as artwork, sensory exploration, a math activity, or a fine motor activity

Rodi Daycare Center observes all Federal Holidays and will close on the following days:

November: Veterans' Day, Thanksgiving, Day After Thanksgiving

December: Winter Recess (December 24-January 4)

February: Presidents’ Day

April: Good Friday 

May: Memorial Day

July: Independence Day

    I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this school. My son attends the 3k program and loves coming here. They are very detailed oriented and plan wonderful and enriching activities for the children, anything from learning about holidays to seasons, careers, feelings, clothes, etc. I particularly like that they often do work/play in pairs. My son often comes home with new words and phrases and he has improved his communication and behavior at home since the start of the year. They offer great meals, healthy but at the same time, toddler-appropriate and have the option to bring your own meals and snacks. My son has never caught any illness from here (which I understand is normal!) which is a testament to the staff and families doing a great job. The environment is very inviting (feels like a second home) and the children always look content and at ease. I am very happy to send my child here and I recommend it to other families!

    We LOVE Rodi Daycare.  Our Daughter has been a student for last year's 2019-20 and now the 2020-21 School Years.  Rodica, the owner, is responsive, professional and caring.  The Teachers are amazing (currently, Ms. Stephany), innovative, creative, and engaging.  Our daughter can't wait to go to school every morning.  Rodi Daycare has great apps and a new in classroom camera (with secure login!)  for a short viewing window so that you can see the kids having a great time each day.   We know our daughter is happy, safe, and engaged the entire time she's in their care.  Highly recommend.

    Rodi Daycare was as a second home for our 2 children who are now in middle school. They loved going there each day. The teachers are great and the owner is very involved.  Rodi understands what it means to be a working parent. She opened her business after she herself had trouble finding the right daycare for her own children. It's the most affordable daycare in the neighborhood. She works with parents and families to determine what's right for them. We always felt at ease dropping our children off as they felt very safe and comfortable. We would also get daily updates from teachers. We've recommended the daycare to many of our relatives and friends and would do so over and over again.
