A Day in The Life at Our Center
Our program breakdown of activities varies depending upon factors such as ages, abilities of our students, time allotted throughout the day, and how that ties into the length of each exercise. - Early morning free play involves getting accustomed to the environment and greeting friends
- Circle time welcomes each child and includes singing, storytime, and creative movement
- Table activity is an artwork related to the weekly theme, sensory exploration, literacy activity, and fine motor activities
- Outdoor play is in our safe, enclosed play area (weather permitting)
- Our special activity features Zumba for kids with music
- Lunchtime, where students sit down to lunch brought from home
- Naptime; non-nappers engage in reading, puzzles, or other quiet activities
- Read-aloud time, which may be a story related to our weekly theme
- Gross motor activities which include dance, game, and movement
- Snack time, which our daycare provides
- We end our day with a table activity such as artwork, sensory exploration, a math activity, or a fine motor activity

Rodi Daycare Center observes all Federal Holidays and will close on the following days:
September: Labor Day
October: Columbus Day
November: Veterans' Day, Thanksgiving, Day After Thanksgiving
December: Winter Recess (December 24-January 4)
January: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
February: Presidents’ Day
April: Good Friday
May: Memorial Day
July: Independence Day
* In the event that NYC public schools are closed due to inclement weather, Rodi Daycare Center will also be closed.
